Except I always am using the weather app on my iphone. If we are going anywhere I check it when I wake up to see how to dress the kids. Then check it when I get out of the shower then check it a couple times while I am drying my hair. The Weather Channel was a big deal in my house and my Dad, although having relocated to California more than 10 years ago, remains obsessed with the weather. He even has a "weather station" that he keeps in the house that will tell you everything you ever wanted (or didn't want in the case of those of us who don't really want to discuss the barometric pressure at 7:30 in the morning) to know about temperature changes, precipitation and much more. I still love checking the Weather Channel even though I live in San Francisco and let's face it, not too much changes here. I so miss the days of tracking storms and guesstimating inches hoping for snow days - well, maybe not that much. It's much more fun to visit snowy rainy weather then to live in it IMHO.
